This was our second trip with Celebrity- previously the Caribbean. That was a reasonably pleasant cruise. This , Alaska, one was superb

We arrived at embarkation and had a faultless experience. Now, we had the Aqua class booking and I think that made a huge difference, as the other line was long. Stateroom 9101 and it was immediately ready( although the doors in the passageways were closed, but could be opened). The cabin was perfectly acceptable to us. I am surprised at the guarded comments from others previously. The washroom is small, so what. One thing, the balcony is overhung by the 10th deck, and you should bear that in mind- but moving to deck 11 will cost more, I think. Our stewardess, Marites, and assistant, Enaldo did a sterling job.

Overall the vessel lacked nothing to make the trip enjoyable. We have opted for Aqua because of the Blu restaurant which, as before, was first class. The food is of a superb quality, but the service matches it, in particular the special wine waiter Fernando. There's no point in trying to extol his virtues here, but, if you can fit it in, go to his Wine Tasting. It's a cabaret. Absolutely no complaints with the Bar service, although the usual cruise language communication difficulties do occur.
