We had a blast. Going through the Panama Canal was fascinating. All of the shore excursions we went on were great. The staff on the Pearl were friendly. We went early and spent an extra day in Miami and got to see the city. The Softiel Hotel was wonderful. In Puntarenas, Costa Rica was the only real problem with getting on the shore excursions as it was a mad house with another cruise ship in port and people from both ships getting on or getting off the buses with no real direction from any ship staff. This was our 4th cruise on Norwegian, and the 2nd on the Pearl. The food was excellent. The service was very good. The cabin was very good. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and would do it again.

Cabin BB

The cabin was pretty good. Our cabin steward did an okay job.

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

We got off the ship in LA. We met with our daughter and some friends and toured the city with them. We were able to see parts of the city that we had never been to before.
