We had an easy embarkation upon arrival. We got to the port around 11:30am, got into a short line, and was on board within 20 minutes! RC did a great job building this terminal. We immediately went up to the Solarium for lunch - there was no wait. Food overall was good, but if you want the "unhealthy" stuff, go elsewhere (buffet, Sorrentos). We were able to enter our cabin, 9727, at 1pm. The sofa could use some cleaning otherwise the room was fine. Our cabin steward was very helpful and attentive - she even brought me two extra pillows to accommodate my sleeping position after having major back surgery two years ago. We had great waiters in the dining room! The pumpkin seed rolls were great - wish I could find some here at home. My only complaint about dinner was the last evening - selection and food wasn't that great. The seafood tasted like it was frozen Seapak seafood! Johnny Rockets was really good - all you can eat for $6.95 pp. We also ate at Chops Grille - excellent and well worth the extra money for the evening. A Micheal Kors shop opened on board. Women herded into the small room like cows on crack! Almost cleaned the place out - they made their sales that day!
Parents: ship personnel are not responsible for watching your children at the pool. KEEP AN EYE ON THEM! A small child almost drowned on this cruise. Another passenger saw the child at the bottom of the pool, jumped in, and performed CPR. Luckily, the child survived....
RC was gracious enough to refund our excursion for Cozumel. We had a beach day scheduled but it rained. The beach at Labadee was great. There is a shuttle to take you to the other end as there are two areas for lounging and BBQ. We weren't aware of the shuttle until it was too late - the first area does not allow swimming due to rocks in the water. You have to go to the second area if you want to swim.
Overall, cabin was nice but sofa needs a cleaning. Ample storage space. Bed was comfortable.
