This was a terrific experience, we were on our 6th cruise, third time with RCI, this ship is superbly run ,using technology , to make life easier for all. Embarkation is just so easy, no need to find a desk, just a crew member with an ipad! It might look huge but this ship is so beautifully decorated, it is actually the friendliest ship we have ever sailed on. The Grand dining room was actually our favourite restaurant., lots of other dining options available ,our ports were not the best but this ship made up for this. (Vigo, Gijon,Bilbao and Le Havre). The best enterainment ever is on offer, and for this I would return! The cruise director was superb along with the Captain Klauss Andersson they managed to make the Anthem the friendliest on the oceans. We had a balcony cabin midship on 9th floor, would recommend it. Our shore excursion to the Guggenheim Bilbao is to be recommended.
Regretfully we did not take an excursion, next time shall take the trip to Honfleur. Le Havre is not even good for shopping. You need to take the shuttle into town.
Very nice for shopping, nice big town for a walk didnt seem great for sight seeing but the shops were great. You can walk into town quite easily. Only 1€ for coffee and cake!
