As I am not an experienced cruiser, I can only feel this can be marked as average, the cabin staff were superb, everything else for us distinctly average, we felt the rest, shops, spa, gallery's, excursions were clearly for up grading or selling. The excursions felt rushed with little time allowed, one had been running late allegedly to the previous ship being slow to move their people, then being told late arrivals from our ship (poor communication).
Formal night, although some what relaxed (not a DJ Event) but smart casual expected found one couple being dressed in shorts & a hoody, how this can be seen as smart casual is beyond me. The introduction by the fitness team of good feet insoles had been incorrectly carried out, we found the correct fitting of these by a store on land in Florida, the TV add showed a greatly reduced price to those showed on board, however this too was incorrect and ran out at approx $199.00 same as onboard. It is horses for courses and this was not our horse, this time, destinations were good but could have been handled better.
The first night of sailing that you are not advised of is the meal in the steak restaurant, now this a chargeable meal however you do get a bottle of wine thrown in and this had been a good bottle comparable with the price paid. The steaks were second to none, and left us disalugioned with the steaks in the normal restaurants their after.
Good, staff, excellent. Poor point first night there had been something loose outside that constantly rattled/banged, however someone complained an this had been fixed by the next night.
