We are by no means picky uptight people that are hard to please. We have cruised before on RCCL and had no complaints at all with them; we have also gone the all inclusive way before and never had any problems there either. NCL was chosen this time due to the itinerary and the time of year we were able to get away.

The overall atmosphere of this cruise was very different than any other cruise or vacation we have been on. There wasn't the vibe of exciting things happening, it seemed really slow paced and boring. I remember on my last RCCL cruise I was afraid to sneak away for a nap because there was so much going on I was afraid I would miss something.

I really think you need to base this cruise on seeing the amazing ports and think of the cruise as a floating hotel to get you to the ports. Don't expect the cruise to have great food, or overly wonderful service, or even on board activities and you won't be disappointed.
