This was our first cruise. From the boarding on May 16 to the debarkation on May 23 it was great. The first stop was Half Moon Cay. It was gorgeous. The beach had silky white sand and the water was 3 colors of blue. You could see your feet along with fish. Carnival gave to us a free buffet lunch. It was wonderful.
Our second stop was St. Thomas. On St. Thomas we took the Tiki boat tour. It was wonderful. There was a steel drum band on it along with line dancing. We learned a lot about St. Thomas. It stopped on Honeymoon Beach for 1 hour and took us back to the St. Thomas dock. We spent the rest of our time shopping. The natives, that we spoke to, were very nice.
The third stop was in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We took the Old San Juan tour. We had a wonderful tour guide (Sal). He took us to a fort and to the Presidents Walk. He was very informative and he taught us the Salsa dance. He then dropped us off in Old San Juan to shop (we also at the native food-ground up plantain with veggies) and took us back to the dock. We spent the rest of the time walking around by the dock and shopping.
It was wonderful. It had more storage space then expected. We had a problem with our bathroom sink which was promptly addressed. We loved the towel animals that were in our room every night. We were very well taken care of by I Made.
Half Moon Cay was gorgeous. We spent our time on the beach. The sand was soft as silk. The water was 3 colors of blue and you could see your feet as you look down along with fish. The water was warm. We went to the old ship bar and had a margarita and pina colata. They were great. It was the most beautiful beach that we have ever seen.
