Sail Date: May 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was our first Royal cruise, we have cruised on its sister ships Celebrity.

Here's what I liked: CENTRAL PARK, it's amazing, very nice touch. The Boardwalk area was fun, especially if you have children. At least one pool and spa open 24 hours, nice touch.

Here's what I didn't like: Having to reserve shows prior to boarding, the never changing menu in the main dinning room, the extra charge for steak, etc. in the main dinning room, showing up at the WindJammer Cafe only to find out 3 days in a row that they ran out of the pretzel hot dogs. Not knowing what restaurants were fee based and what ones were not.

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D8

Our cabin was the usual ocean view balcony. It was clean, bed was very comfy, shower was nice. No amenities in the bathroom. however when I asked the room steward for them I got some. Our room was missing a do not disturb sign and we requested one, never received it, got one off the floor in the hall. Long lines in guest services and in the future booking office.

Not sure I will be back on the Oasis

Port Reviews

Labadee

Yuck, did not care for this port. Signage is not good, not much to do or see. We didn't know about the "shuttle" until we were trudging back to the ship.

Falmouth

Unless you take an excursion this port is just a shopping stop. The usual suspects in the Caribbean, Diamonds International, Del Sol, etc. Margaretaville.

Cozumel

Another shopping port. You can snorkel in Cozumel and the Ruins are a nice excursion, otherwise it's a place to pick up some cheap pharmaceuticals and get free trinkets from all the shops that call you in.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Port Everglades is easy peasy to get to, love sailing out of this port, it is convenient to many stores and hotels and the airport is only 10 minutes away.
