Just returned from the May 20th, Rome (Civitavecchia) embarkation of the Western Mediterranean, with a return to Rome (Civitavecchia) on May 27th.
Pros:
Found embarkation quick and simple. Maybe only 10% to 15% of the cruisers get on in Rome. Boarding, which started for us, commenced at 11:15am. We were on the ship within 10 mins. (Disembarkation was also quick and smooth),

I'm really not a fan of the curved shaped staterooms nor the semi private shower and toilets. (my stateroom was 11245) . It was very difficult passing one another at the foot of the bed, with its curve, and knowing what ones doing in the toilet isn't difficult to guess (being its only covered by a sliding glass door}.
