This was our fourth Celebrity cruise and 25th overall. The weather was outstanding which in my opinion makes all the difference. Embarkation was a disappointment having become accustomed to basically walking on the ship with minimal delays. We arrived after 1 pm and were corralled in a holding area while those with better status were sent into extremely long lines which could possibly have resulted on longer waits then we had. Total time from arrival to boarding was only 90 minutes but still longer then expected. Found the crowds in the Ocean View Cafe in the morning to be large and usually ate on the back of the ship outside which sometimes was a bit uncomfortable. Made the mistake of choosing the Lawn Club Grill on first formal night and it was cold, windy and rainy but that was our fault and staff tried to make the most of it. All the other specialty restaurants were good did Quisine twice and found it and Tuscan Grill to be the best. We most likely will not do Murano in the future as we find it almost stifling. Were seated promptly at a table for two on our nights at the MDR with select dining. A couple of the shows and entertainers were good and a couple were decidedly not. We had the best room stewards ever in Antonio and Anthony. SPB tours in St. Petersburg and Berlin were excellent. I am glad I had the experience but would not repeat either especially Berlin with the 9 hour bus ride. Speaking of buses use Hop on Hop off in most ports and avoid the ship shuttle. Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm were what I expected and all were beautiful. Tallinn was a highlight and even Frederica was fun. Am busily looking into our next adventure and most likely will stay loyal to Celebrity.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1A

Cabin 1A

Had room 8345 an A1 cabin Aft with slightly larger balcony which was nice but in the future I will be looking at mid-ship cabins as the walk to elevators is long.
