This is our third cruise with Norwegian Cruise line. Previously we cruised on the Norwegian epic and thus had high expectations for this ship. While we enjoyed the ship overall The service that we received from the staff was sadly lacking. We traveled with the group who had a much better experience than we did. We never saw our cabin person the entire trip. The staff who were supposed to be sanitizing peoples hands before they went into the café were so invoked with their coworkers that the job of disinfection never was accomplished.
We were very fortunate to get into that vibe area. If it hadn't been for the vibe, I am not so sure we would have had as good a cruises we did.
We had a mini spa suite in cabin 14766. The layout of the cabin was perfect. The only problem was every morning at 7 AM we heard the lounge chairs being raked across the metal above us. We certainly did not want to wake up at 7 AM every morning. I would definitely choose another floor or side of the ship that does not have a deck above you.

Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony
The cabin layout was nice. The problem with this cabin is that every morning at 7 AM you can hear the lounge chairs being dragged across the floor above you. I had brought a sound machine for the room but that did nothing to drowned out the sound of metal scraping across metal. Our cabin steward was nonexistent. We received two towel animals for seven day trip. We were never welcome to our room and this actually had a negative impact on our trip. We traveled with a group of friends who posted many pictures of their steward and of the things that were left for them in their room and we had nothing. We had to call about resetting the safe the first day. We had to call to get another TV remote. Even after receiving the new TV remote, there was difficulty using the features on the TV.
