We booked this cruise on recommendation of friends. This was our 28th cruise (8th with RC) cruise. Everyone says you have to try the Oasis Class once. Well we did and if it wasn't for Cats and the Aqua Show it would have been even more disappointing. The promenade was often overcrowded and service in the area eateries was not good. It was hard to not only find a place to sit, but most of the time the tables were dirty. We were stuck with anytime dinning with a set time; however we had to wait in line to wait in another line to wait then to be called by name to be taken to our table. Very frustrating. The food and service in the dinning room was ok. Lots of noisy kids though. The food as well as variety outside of the dining room was very disappointing. We ate at the Chops Grill. Fortunately is was free as it was not worth the $39 cover charge per person. Not near the experience, quality or variety of Princess. The captains Crown and Anchor event was in the morning on a port day - gee thanks RC for recognizing your frequent cruisers.

The only real value for us was Cats. Anyone who really appreciates a Broadway musicale will truly enjoy the show. The other shows were just okay. Customer service was terrible and actually rude.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C1

Cabin was okay, smaller than we expected. Closet is so shallow the sleeves on our sweaters and sport coat had to be pushed back to close the doors. No drawers and the night stand was nothing more than a double shelf telephone stand. Balcony was okay overlooking central park - it's not as peaceful and private as expected. TV selection of shows is sad. Other than the news and some kids programs everything of any interest is pay per view. NO free internet or laundry for frequent cruisers.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation was good. Disembarking was a very long process. It took an hour to get off the ship once we were called. It was orderly and there were only 6 custom stations.

St. Maarten

Not much to see at the port. Been to St Maarten several times at a different pier that is a better location. We find the tours on RC to be overpriced and poor.
