The Grand Bahama Cruise Line overall will be like a 3 to 4 stars. The ship was very clean, the food was edible, it was good. The activities can be a little better, however it consisted of karaoke, had a "free" comedy show and variety show which was nice. The comedian was funny and the people were talented who were doing the acts for the show. The fees were a little overboard such as the fuel and gratuity, ($42 for me and husband for two days) wish they will just be more informative on what you have to pay. No cash can be spent on ship you use room key as credit card for purchases. A really nice thing we got was a $50 credit and "free" getaway trip to Orlando for participating in a 90 minute travel share presentation. To my surprising it really was about a hour and half. Unlike other timeshare presentation we've been on. They had a comedy show that you had to pay ($11.50) and also like a formal dinner you had to pay for. Not sure the cost of it. Other ships (Royal Caribbean) had free formal dinner included with the trip, I didn't like that too much. Also when you go to sea for a day its like about ten hours you have to explore and do things when you stop in Bahamas whereby other cruise I went on you had all day like till 11 pm to get back on boat. When you get in Bahamas like on the beach they have activities just make sure you have cash and also you can always try and talk down activity prices like one guy told us to ride banana boat was $35 per person then he said he could do it for $25pp. So make your deals with the folks. The beach was beautiful truly you feel like your in paradise!!! The Taino Beach. They charge $7 per person for taxi to beach $14 round trip. Then when you get to beach it cost $3 to get in. The room service clerk was nice and friendly. The room was actually bigger than expected. Me and hubby are simple folks so it was good enough for us, the standard interior room. I didn't get into pool but the Jacuzzi was small but they had two so that was ok. The drinks were reasonable pricing and they also had BOGO at times which was cool. Overall a pretty good trip will do it again!!!!

Cabin Review

The cabin was bigger than expected. We were satisfied. The shower was ok it fit both me and hubby, but small of course. Room had flat screen TV. Overall nice room. Clean room service was great!!!
