Just back from a cruise from Bristol (Avonmouth) to Scottish Islands and Faroes. Living in the SW it is really good to have a port of embarkation that is not a long drive away. Can't fault anything about the trip (perhaps the rough seas on occasion)! Great ship 67 years old but looking very good. Getting on board was very well organised; cabin good with lots of storage; friendly staff who seemed genuinely happy - mostly from Ukraine but many nationalities represented. Excellent tendering from ship to Scottish islands when weather permitted it; good food and so much of it; the entertainment that we saw was very good especially the 4 singers - Jordan etc. Only complaint that we all had to be up and out of our cabins by 6.30 am on the last morning. This created chaos in the restaurants and the public area toilets. Some staggering needed there especially as once up we had to wait 2 + hours before disembarking.
