We have been on 5 cruises, this was our 4th with Carnival. Here is our take....the Paradise is an older ship, maintained fairly well, comfortable, nice sized rooms, atrium and lobby have that WOW factor that doesn't feel outdated. Getting around the ship was pretty easy. We went with 3 other couples and we're always able to find seating that would accommodate all eight of us. Now for the part of this review that puts our brand loyalty to the test.....1) We did the Cheers package it was nice to not have to worry about our bar bill but my spouse could not even go to the bar and order drinks for us without me having to give up my seat to come and sign the bar slip...How do you keep your seats when you can only hold them for 45 minutes and the wait to get a drink at most of the bars was at least that long....???

2) while waiting for a drink most of the bartenders either helped people out of order or NEVER EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE WE WERE STANDING THERE....not cool when waiting that long-what happened to the Carnival vibe that we so look forward too?
