Having been on a number of P&O cruises we have normally been happy with them. This is our first review so here goes!
Embarkation: good.
Accommodation: We decided to treat ourselves to a suite this time (without the children!), but this was a mistake, whilst the suite was spacious for the two of us, it's position was terrible! The balcony was very narrow and the Lido deck above overhang by some distance so there was no chance of getting any sun on it! The worst problem though was the noise from the above deck, from people walking, trolleys and even people having conversations (and yes this was inside the cabin, not on the balcony!) P&O's response to our complaint was, 'sorry but we are full so can't move you.'!
Good sized cabin, balcony too narrow and overhang of upper deck made sitting on it redundant! Very clean and steward and butler very friendly and helpful.
We visited the port independently, some lovely old buildings and shopping (if you like that sort of thing!) Was very busy on the day we visited however due to two other ships being in port!
