We have done many cruises, this was our first to the Mediterranean. The best part of the trip were the amazing excursions. The ports were great and each of the tour guides went above and beyond. We would have loved to have been able to review them with NCL but they really never asked. The meals were average, at best, with the same options each night just listed on different places on the menu. One huge change was the shows. They have a main theater where you normally go to see a show in the evening. They wanted you to make reservations and only had 3 acts for the entire week. They also started to require reservations for some of the lounge shows. One whole floor devoted to a (smoking) casino. There seemed to be confusion on the part of the staff. Each person would give different information. There weren't your typical cruise activities, we were pretty much on our own. They did mention a "white" evening but then never mentioned it again on the ship. We barely saw or heard from the cruise director. As I said the excursions were amazing. NCL not so much.

Balcony

We had a balcony room. The design of the rooms are curved and therefore the beds are rounded at the bottom. If you're under 6 feet tall you'd be fine otherwise your feet will hang off. The toilet area and shower area are opposite each other, right at the entrance door, they are closed by a lightly smoked plexi glass sliding door. No privacy.
