Cabin: Princess Suite

Given that the cruise industry is becoming very competitive these days, we would have thought that Cunard would have tried to keep up with the other "luxury" lines.

First the good:

The embarkation process was very quick and trouble free and efficient.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We didn't bother as we arrived in the Grand Cayman on a Sunday - very disappointed that most of the businesses were closed and felt that Cunard should organise this cruise onwards so that Sundays if possible are at sea.

Los Angeles

Embarked in San Pedro - this is fairly ordinary town with not much going for it. The embarkation process however was quick and swift and we were on the ship and in our cabin very quickly.

Cabo San Lucas

We were glad we didn't opt for an excursion because we did hear later that they weren't really good - we walked around the town which was very poor - not a port which Cunard needs to visit.

New York (Manhattan)

Disembarkation was swift - we were off the ship by 9.30 a.m. and were helped on the wharf by willing porters. Plenty of taxis out the front so a good process.
