This was my second time on a cruise ship, but this time I was on the Breakaway. When first boarding, it was a smooth transfer onto the ship. Once on we where allowed to roam on the ship until our quarters where ready (last min checks where done). Once they announced that we could go to our rooms, we headed there. Upon entering the room, it was an instant WOW! the room was spotless, comfortable and had a large balcony, overseeing the ocean, Large bathroom with shower. Once out of port and on the ocean, you did not realize you where cruising on the ocean. The ship was very stable and at times you forgot you where on the ocean until you went out on deck to view it. Service was second to none, I had never been so pampered in my life. The crew was very polite and helpful. They did not want you to have any worries, just to enjoy the cruise. After the first day on the ship and some helpful tips from the crew, I was able to navigate around on the ship as though I was a crew member. There was something to do every night, the entertainment, food & spirits. Even the other guest where fun. One thing I noticed, is while moving around the ship is the children had a place to have there fun. I had made a lot of friends while onboard. It just made the cruise even better. Then there was the ports we stopped at. At each of these locations we where treated to some great fun and met some fantastic tour guides, I know I will never forget some of them. I had such a great time that we have booked another cruise on their new ship the Escape and will be bringing a large group this time. Thanks Norwegian!

Cabin Review

Large Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B6

The room was spotless, comfortable and had a large balcony, overseeing the ocean, Large bathroom with shower. Every day that we returned to the room, it was cleaned and they had made some figure out of towels that would be on your bed. If you had left something on the bed or floor, this figure would have it on itself. Mine was often found wearing my sun glasses.

Port Reviews

New York (Brooklyn, Red Hook)

This is where we where to board our ship. There was a lot to see around us, but we did not make the time to spend here. We wanted to get on the ship and head to the ocean. But on our way out of port, we had passed by the Statue of Liberty. This was my first time to see it in person. Now I was able to see what millions of people had viewed in our past history coming to this country. A very proud moment as an american!
