We just got home from a week on the Norwegian Getaway and as always we came home relaxed and rejuvenated. There were some good and some bad points about this particular ship and cruise line. Being a positive person, I would like to start with the "Good" points.

FOOD: Awesome......This word is over-used in this day and age and should be reserved strictly to define the food aboard the "Getaway". This was our 21st cruise overall (several ships and cruise lines) and the food on this ship was far and away better than the others. We got the "Dining package" for all the specialty restaurants but don't jump the gun here. We found the food on the buffet and the 24 hour restaurant were equally as good. The Dining Package offered, Italian, French and Japanese foods as well as a Prime Steakhouse and several others that were all extremely good. literally everything we ate was excellent.

Mini-golf, ropes course, rock wall and water slides were all fun and exciting.
