This was our first Royal Caribbean Cruise, we always cruise with Carnival.

I grew up cruising as my mom worked for a cruise line and then I did as well. I honestly can't even count the number of cruises I have been on. On the Enchantment the food in the MDR and Windjammer was excellent. We had fun because let's face it, we were on a boat and on vacation. However, on the pool deck there was never any "tropical" music, they played movies every day which were quite loud and except for the first day (the only day they had a reggae band and no movie) it was pretty much dead on the pool deck. You can watch movies at home, you go on vacation you want to feel the tropical vibe. We spent our nights on the casino because the few shows they did have were not great. We also like fun games on the pool deck and the entire cruise they only had one, the belly flop contest. Carnival always has that and lots of other funny contests on the pool deck. Like I said we had fun because we were on vacation, but we will stay with Carnival. At one point we were sitting on our balcony and looked over at the Carnival ship all lit up playing reggae and people had a huge conga line and were dancing on the pool deck. We didn't have any music, just movies. Been to Nassau too many times to count but as always had a blast. First time at Coco Cay though and that was relaxing, we floated in the water and snorkeled all day. You'll have fun because you're on a boat but if you like action and tropical vibes and games on the pool deck, you'll be a little disappointed.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Balcony cabin was smaller than Carnival.
