Review for Caribbean Princess 12/7 - 12/14/08

There are 4 of us traveling together. Jimmy and Lori (me) and Jimmy's brother David and his wife Sherry. This is our 25th anniversary and their 10th so we wanted to do something special to celebrate. Boy did we ever have a great celebration. This was for sure a vacation to remember.

Saturday 12/6/08: Flew into San Juan the day before our cruise, we rented a car from Charlie Cars. Everything went great, got picked up and dropped off at the car rental location and were on our way. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Isle Verde. Very nice hotel, bathroom could have use an extra cleaning but all in all it was good. We ate breakfast in the free bar downstairs and it was good. Our room was a handicap accessible room, you entered into a living room with couch, chair and desk with two chairs, nice TV with chest of drawers. The bath was in the middle along with a sink area with frig and microwave, then into the bedroom with two full beds and another TV. This area had a door to completely close off area. Can't complain for the money, we paid 179.00 total for the suite with 4 people in the room. That price included parking as well, I found when looking at hotels that some of them can really charge big for parking. This was a good choice for us and would do it again.
