For my family and myself it was our very first cruising experience, all except my mother. My partner and I, both in our twenties, were the oldest young people on board, but it suited us just fine. There were quite a few children, but you rarely saw or heard from them. We took the "Treasures of Asia" cruise and we just loved it. The only thing that tarnished the journey was when my partner and I both fell ill. On our second sea day, we caught the tail end of a cyclone and my partner and I spent the entire day in bed with sea sickness. I also caught a mild case of gastro at the end of the trip, but both times the staff were wonderful, especially my cabin steward who constantly checked in on us.

We're quite simple people and not used to luxury. We normally travel just a little more expensive then back packing, so for us, the ship was amazing. The decor was beautiful and warm and though it did need some touch ups here and there, there was nothing really to hinder the beauty. The staff were very friendly and warm and the food was simply amazing. I'd love to see more Asian dishes on the menu, but what was there was always delicious.

Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze. There was a slight hiccup in Bali due to the swell and standing in line in the sun was a bit much for some of the elderly, but other then that, there was no issues.

Cabin Review

Cabin Interior 3 Bunks

Much roomier then expected. It was always bouncier inside the cabin then in any other part of the ship, but it was comfortable and our steward was amazing.
