What a fantastic cruise. It was wonderful to take this ship on a transatlantic from Miami to Barcelona. The ship was great to do a transatlantic as it is large and has a lot to do a board. During the many days a seat you can take advantage of the alternate restaurants, all the entertainment on board and just visit every nook and cranny.

FOOD:

I had been on the Norwegian epic a month before this and new that Manhattan club and Taste were just ordinary! I had the ultimate dining package and wanted to try every single restaurant. Shanghai and noodle bar became free and they were okay but they changed the menus from when they were a la carte or paid for! Still good and I would go with this option over the "free" dining rooms! The Garden Café was okay for lunch but I really loved ordering the Continental room service and using that as a wake up call every morning.

Cabin B5

Not a good location as it is in the aft and it is "indented." I would much rather have a clear view of the ocean and not look down and see other people on their balconies.

Port Reviews

Madeira (Funchal)

Definitely a gorgeous island and look forward to going there again! It is a beautiful mountain this island built on extinct volcanoes. The people are nice and believe it or not it is part of Portugal. A lovely place to visit for sure.

Barcelona

Probably the loveliest city in Spain. Definitely spend some time if you are embarking or disembarking in this lovely city. Go to the different museums on the hill, including the national Museum, which is a must and the Miro foundation
