The good part, we went on the Getaway and we had a fabulous time. The food was wonderful, service was outstanding, ship was beautiful. My 9 year old liked it even better than Disney. It really was amazing. As an added note: we had an inside room and I was concerned it would be too small (especially after just sailing in a Royal suite with Disney). But it was great and we had plenty of room.

The bad part is NCL corporation and their constant changing of policies. #1 I had prepaid my dining package and for no reason, they refunded me with no communication. I had missed it on my checking account so had to rebuy it on the ship. I didn't mind paying for it but it was unexpected. And I still have no idea why they refunded it in the first place or why they wouldn't tell me. But then as of my cruise, they changed policy that kids were no longer half price for adult meals in the dining room. Now I can understand why they would change it, I had tried to prepay for my child when I had bought mine. I was told I could not because kids were half price. If you are going to change a policy, you give sufficient warning and do not charge people that have already paid in full. You ESPECIALLY do not make a change like that and not tell anyone and just let the charges rack up. We spent a good portion of the cruise fighting with guest services over it. They also decided to start charging for room service.

I tried not to let it get to me, and did not yell at guest services. They didn't make the changed, corporate did. After the cruise I wrote TWO emails and called. I was left on hold for 20 minutes before giving up. No one bothered to respond. What I wanted to hear from management was assurance that in the future, they would not raise funds on guests without warning who had already prepaid. Because they could not even bother a response, I will no longer sail with them. It's a shame because that would have been our favorite cruise.

Inside Stateroom

Cabin IC

Surprisingly comfortable and roomy for an inside room. No couch, but the bed was so comfy we just laid on that all the time. The bathrooms were really nice.
