NCL is not Seabourn nor Oceania, but neither are their prices! I'm amazed that they could offer a cruise for the price that we paid, with the option of a Universal Beverage Package (of which we took advantage). We couldn't have done that travel, with lodging and food, for the same price independently!

The staff was responsive and helpful. Our room steward brought us bathrobes and a 'foam topper' for the bed, when requested. (We tipped him for that extra service, of course). Wait staff in the restaurants and lounges was friendly and anxious to please.

One of our main complaints was that for some reason the volume on music, either live or canned background music, tended to be cranked up to *loud*! It was especially irritating when one wanted to sit in the Observation Lounge and look out at the scenery or talk quietly with new friends. We did talk to the Hotel Manager and the bartenders in the Observation Lounge about that, and to their credit, the situation improved.
