Sail Date: May 2015
Cabin: Balcony

I had pretty high expectations, and they were all met or exceeded.

Cabin-First of all, our cabin (a balcony - 6407) was great, way more than I expected. Bed was comfy, balcony was great, and the room was bigger than I expected. The noise wasn't bad, we bright ear plugs and a white noise machine in anticipation of corridor noise, and both were helpful. I'm a very light sleeper and with ear plugs I was able to sleep great.

Food - I must say the food was just meh. Nothing spectacular, but I didn't expect great things from what I had heard. The taco/burrito place was probably the best, and the pizza was good, too. The service was provided always with a smile and the entire wait staff is great, weather dining formally or grabbing a snack. Desserts in the dining room were probably my favorite.

Roomy and comfortable, what more can you ask for? I know that having a balcony room absolutely made the cruise and would not even consider cruising without one.

Port Reviews

Roatan

Carnival owned and run Mahogany Bay is very nice, clean and friendly. The restaurants are what you would expect in the states. Beach is very nice, go early is you'd like to have a good spot as they fill up quickly.
