First cruise so went with Thomson for price and itinerary. I am so glad I did, we enjoyed it very much so much so my husband never wants to stay in a hotel on holiday again. You are made to feel special, nothing is too much. Trips were excellent. Only downfall was we went to a hotel for the second week but wished we did 2weeks on the ship instead. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has never cruised and is worried about it being a stuffy environment. It is casual but you can do dressy too I did. Top marks to th Orion restaurant it was fabulous, the food was absolutely delicious. You can eat and drink whenever you want throughout the ship. Staff were fantastic throughout the voyage. Will be returning to the Thomson Discovery for sure
