We were part of a large group that included its own entertainment. Most of us had cruised before as part of similar groups. On the plus side, the venues provided for our purposes were great, appropriate in size and maintained well, though there were challenges with climate control in some of the rooms. Dining was either awesome or awful. The specialty restaurants were impressive, good food, good service, particularly, Cagney's.

The restaurants included in Free Style dining were dreadful, with the exception on The Great Outdoors (late breakfast) and The Grand Pacific. Food in the other restaurants was served cold and did not offer the "fine dining" experience one usually associates with cruises.

I dined in The Orchard (Chinese menu) last night. I've had better food and service in local "hole in the wall" places. We were not offered ANY beverage, no water, tea, cocktails...had to wait for utensils after asking (and after our food was served). Portions were small and though it was explained that meals were served "family style," three of us had completed our dinners before the 4th was served. HOW long does it take to stir fry lo mein and shrimp?

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

The cabin was small. Bathroom too small/narrow. Well appointed, very comfortable bed, but small.

Remote control battery needed replacing. Left request but steward did not change.

When attendants and servers know that gratuities are included in our charges, their level of attention is not the same. Tips should be earned, not expected.
