This is the third year in a row that we have taken this cruise to Bermuda. Obviously we enjoy it and this year was no exception. We are able to drive to the port and take advantage of the parking. Embarkation was smooth and fast, and we were very impressed with the new port design. It's great not to have to hop on the bus transport to get out to the ship as you had to in the past. The Summit is an older ship that's for sure, but we still find her in decent shape. She may have a bit of rust here and there, but let's face it, the ocean takes it toll on everyone. We found the ship to be clean and well maintained. And I can't say enough about the staff. Found everyone to be hard working and always pleasant. We were especially impressed with our room steward Jenely and her assistant Sahri. They were terrific.

Since we were given the opportunity to move up to Aqua Class we were able to eat in Blu, and took advantage of that for one breakfast. Service was excellent and the food very good. As we were traveling with another couple who were not in Aqua, we ate the remainder of our meals in the MDR or the buffet. Even though we had select seating, we seemed to eat in the same area each night and found the food and service excellent. And, we never had to wait long for wine service and or to be asked if we wanted an additional glass. We did attend a number of shows and found the singers and dancers to be very good this year. We really enjoyed the comedian and the Imagic show that was put on. In some of the other areas we enjoyed a singer/guitar player as well as a nice jazz band. The bartenders at Crush really put on a good show also. We didn't have any excursions booked as we just get off the ship and use the ferry/bus to get around Bermuda. When it came to disembarkation, I would have to say that it was the fastest and most organized it has ever been. All in all a very nice trip - and we have even booked again for next year - this time in early June.
