Twelfth cruise, first time on Princess and first time to Alaska. No complaints at all, we all had a great time. Switched from anytime to early dining after reading reviews here, thank you. Waited a few days before making reservations at the Crown Grill so we "settled" for Sabbattinis and ended up getting extremely good steaks and a rack of veal which was three inches thick.
Service was great, everybody very polite and outgoing. Ship was extremely clean, we heard from the crew there was a noro outbreak but didn't hear anything about it from fellow passengers. Food was high quality and even the buffet was surprisingly good.
I read that Alaskan cruises were pretty casual, but I saw very few fellow passengers wearing jeans on the ship and most dressed up nicely for dinner even on smart casual nights.
Decent enough for an inside cabin. Huge closet, asked for five more coat hangers and quickly received them. Loved our cabin steward Allen.
