As first time cruisers we loved this cruise. This cruise is well organised with a wonderful itinerary. Staff were very friendly, helpful & cleanliness was very important.
• Raffles Court: (deck 12 aft) Breakfast usually stays the same, with croissants, cereals, vegetables, fruits, made to order eggs, waffles, bacon, you name it. Raffles also has milk in cartons, cereal in boxes, fruit, and single serving yogurt. A great self-serve soft serve machine with chocolate and vanilla flavors. Unfortunately it broke! Crepes are served fresh and hot after about 5 at Raffles. Food can be brought back to your room; leave the plates outside for your steward to bring back. Raffles opens early. This is especially important on days where the port is far away from the destination (Rome).
• Blue Lagoon Café [on deck 7 ] Get free tea or coffee anytime of the day or night
Loved this inside cabin. Good position for getting off the ship for day excursions. Stay dark for late sleeping on sea days! Enough space in cupboards for two people's clothes. Remember pegs for clothesline! Soap & Shampoo dispensers, as well as a hairdryer. Plugs are 220 V & 110 V.
Selfguided by always using Rick Steve’s book “Mediterranean Cruise Ports” & Ulmon city to city offline maps application for iphone. Beautiful city with lots to see. One day is not enough!
Beautiful little place. A photographers dream. This town you can walk by yourself & do not worry if you get lost. Very easy to find your way back. Quite a lot of holidaymakers.
Very, very crowded! Buy tickets online to skip the line as far as possible. Interesting city & not as cheap as I thought. Spicemarket was so crowded that it was difficult to walk. Let alone stand still to buy something.
What a beautiful place to see. It is possible to walk to all the sights. Do not be afraid to get lost, just look out for the yellow markers high on the buildings to get your way back. Walk, see & enjoy. It is not possible to see everything in one day.
