Restaurants: Didn't try any specialty Restaurants, main dining rooms were good enough - Trattoria was basically a blocked off section of Raffles - the buffet - that served Italian food though it seemed pretty popular. raffles for breakfast had your basic food - omelets, eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh fruit, cereal, hashbrowns, waffles, pancakes, french toast, your basic breakfast stuff and for lunch there was a carving, deli section, salad bar, pasta, pizza, vegetarian food, soup, hot dogs, fries, a soft ice cream machine (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla) and a desert bar. windows was excellent - a nice atmosphere with some huge windows at the back the food was great, the menu changed every night. we didn't try the garden room but it had the same menu. blue lagoon is smallish and food court style. it has comfort foods like chips&dip, fish and chips, burgers, chinese wonton soup, french fries coffee and cake. henry's pub has soft pretzels and popcorn and the Bier Garden has burgers, mashed potatoes & gravy and french fries. i recommend getting 1 or 2 pop cards, it's worth it!!! :) Housekeeping: great! the friendliest people! they made the beds every day and every night they made towel animals (won't ruin the surprise of what animal) and chocolate The ship: asian atmosphere, Buccaneer's pool was always packed with kids, tivoli pool had 4 hot tubs, both were salt water CHRISTMAS: it was christmas when we went, so there was a huge decorative christmas tree in the "lobby" and decorative gingerbread houses all around the ship (with candycanes that you can eat on the table) and on christmas all the Restaurants had a special menu Shows: Second City from chicago came, they are comedians and they were pretty good and there was a show with people singing and dancing to Wicked, Mamma Mia and Hairspray
Costa Maya: special section for cruise ships with 2 saltwater pools and bars. the stores were nice but the people were a little pushy for you to buy their items. THan we shared a taxi with another family and rode to the ruins. it was hot but it was well worth it!!! than we had lunch/dinner at a bar called tapas, it was a little pricey but the food was good Guatemala: We took a taxi to a waterfall park, you could go swimming, it was pretty hot so it was nice to cool off. than when checked out the shops, it was very cheap and the craftsmanship was really pretty. we got some cute jewelry for our nieces.
Belize: i didn't get off because i was sick, but i heard it was really hot, that was christmas day
good balcony, bad chairs on balcony, nice people, good view, comfy beds
