I'm going to try to make this short. We've been on 7 cruises, 5 with carnival,1 with Norwegian and one with Royal.. A cruise for the most part is what you make of it. I read more reviews than I cared too before going on this cruise and with many if them being negative, I was a little worried. Needless to say, you need to take most of the bad reviews with a grain of salt and realize that some people won't be happy no matter what. The food was typical cruise food. Some good and some not so good, but never had an issue with finding enough good to eat. Fahrenheit was great and worth the up charge. Italian was OK. You have to remember, your on carnival, its not a 5 star resort, you get what you pay for. The food is good enough to get you through the cruise.

Our room steward was great. Like others said, no more chocolates on the pillows in the evenings...Who really cares that you don't get a piece of chocolate??? Not me.. The casino was never filled with smoke, at least when I was there. Didn't notice a lot of kids running around like a bunch of hopped up on sugar maniacs. In fact, I can't remember any kids running loose except in the water park. Never had any issues with finding chairs to sit on. The chairs by the pool were filled most of the time, but that's to be expected. Didn't see much in the way of people putting towels on chairs to save them. We had, your time dining and never had to wait for a table. Unlike what others said, almost every employee that we came across always said hi and smiled at us. No one seemed tired or worn out.

My point with this review is to let everyone know not to believe all the bad things that they read about this ship. Like I said, dome people expect to be treated like royalty when there not paying for it. Can't make everyone happy and sometimes, bad things do happen when on vacation. Don't let the negative reviews keep you from going on this cruise. There was 4 of us who went and none of us experienced any of the negative things that I read on here. If you have an open mind and relaxed attitude like you should when on vacation, you will have a great time.
