We have cruised with Windstar, Azamara, Seabourn, Crystal and Cunard. This was our first cruise with Celebrity and we were surprised at how good it is. The ship is absolutely beautiful and the staff wonderful. We booked the 2 day Southampton/Le Havre cruise with a special offer, and then later the next cruise to the Norwegian fjords for 7 days in aqua class. We had to change cabins after 2 days but were able to compare a balcony cabin with an aqua class cabin.
Both are identical in size but with a few extras including a fabulous shower in aqua. The main advantage being the exclusive use of the Blu restaurant. Excellent staff including the delightful Marie, Jennifer and JJ, and the food better than the MDR although it was still very good there.
The only disadvantage of an aqua cabin is the overhang from deck 12 which blocks out the sun and some sky. This could be an advantage to some people who want shade in a hot destination.

There are 2 configurations in the cabins which alternate along the corridor with either the bed near the window or near the bathroom. We experienced both and I have to say we enjoyed both. Neither is better than the other. We were very lucky to have the outstanding room steward Cyril in aqua who did so much for us anticipating our every need.
This cabin has the bed near the window.
