Embarkation was a breeze, parking easy - Port Canaveral is very nice. Upon boarding we headed to lunch, grabbed a drink and just hung out. The muster drill was very organized. The ship is clean and very well taken care of. There were many highlights on board. On deck 5 there is a little place that we would visit before dinner and have a little snack. It was very good but not available everyday. Dinner most nights was good but not fantastic, food was not top end. Desserts were always good. Due to the ports and structure they just seemed to have a backwards schedule. They had a formal night on a port day. Not sure who's idea that was but not the best idea.

The biggest complaint that I had on this cruise was the Cruise Director. He selected to play the news every single morning on the pool deck until 10 am and then his show would come on. Where is the music. I go on a cruise to relax not see the news. The other areas on board where you didn't have to see his stupid show were always taken. People saving chairs - really sad. But eventually we found the serenity deck toward the front and found great rounder chairs. Overall - this was my biggest complaint.

Some other highlights - the coffee bar and trivia. It was fun and entertaining. There were many platinum and diamond members on this cruise and they seemed to get a lot of attention. They even had to have 2 welcome back parties due to the level of cruisers on board. The cabin was on the Riviera deck and was just fine. We had no issues and it was a very good location due to exiting at ports. The only thing that I wouldn't do again is book an excursion in Grand Turk - I would just get off the ship with my swimsuit and head to the beach that you can just walk to. Aruba and Bonaire we did the highlight cruise and they were just okay. Carnival offers a good cruise with fair prices.
