My partner and I booked an inner stateroom on Norwegian Epic on May 10 2015, departing from Barcelona. We were assigned a (very far forward) starboard stateroom on deck 8. The ship itself was lovely - a luxurious hotel on the water.

Our inner stateroom, though small, was more than adequate for us, and we liked that there was a separate shower room and toilet.

Unfortunately however, there were some problems too. My partner's bedside lamp did not work. Both hairdryers were clogged with dirt on the rear vents which meant that they would only operate for a few seconds before they overheated and switched off. The main air vent beside the stateroom door was similarly clogged with dirt, so much so that the airflow made a very high pitched whistling sound that would have been unbearable had we not plugged the remaining two open air holes with tissue paper.
