I'm referring to the age of most guests onboard - the average is 60+.
My wife, Marie, and I celebrated our 50th birthdays with this trip, and we were pretty much the youngsters on board (not including the staff). Not that this was a huge problem for us, as most of the people we met were very nice. We had a good time regardless.
Leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale, we were at sea for two days before reaching Cartagena, Columbia. This is about the longest you want to spend on a cruise ship without touching dry land, in my opinion. We booked the Chiva Bus Party tour through RCI. Rum, beer, Coke and entertainment were provided during our tour of the city. Somehow, drinking alcohol at 10 in the morning while riding with a live band in an open-air bus through dilapidated neighborhoods in 100 degree heat with 90% humidity wasn't as fun as we thought it would be. What really stuck with me is how little most of the people we saw have, and they weren't too thrilled to see a bus of loud visitors, drinking and carrying on. If you're looking for an informative tour of the city, this isn't it. We were in port for maybe a total of 6 hours - too short to do anything else.
Small for two people, but that's to be expected. The bed was not comfortable in the least! The shower curtain almost always got in the way while taking a shower. Imagine taking a shower in an old time telephone booth, and you'll have a good idea of how much room there is.
