This was my first cruise ever, and I wasn't sure I would really like it. But this Viking cruise was just wonderful, and I became a convert to Viking cruises. The Forseti is a perfect size ship, where we got to know the staff and other passengers over the week's time. The port and shore excursions were so well-planned, that I never felt that I was in a large group or being hurried about. I appreciated so much the educational aspects of the cruise.

Service was outstanding, and staff members felt like family by the end of the week. The sommelier, Franck, was so helpful and kind. One of our group members is lactose intolerant, and our server, Lasch, was extremely attentive.

I can't say enough about Michael, the hotel manager on the ship. He took care of a very difficult problem for me, and was gracious and kind about helping me.
