We just returned from a very nice 4 day Caribbean cruise on the Century. We are Select on X mostly due to RCI cruises, plus one on the Xpedition (our favorite cruise ever). This was our first cruise on a "regular" X ship and we were looking forward to comparing it to RCL and Princess (where we are Platinum). DW and I had an aft port Deck 9 Concierge Class stateroom and DD (19) and DS (17) and their friends had a nearby inside and an OV on Deck 8.

On this short vacation time cruise, the age and composition of our fellow passengers seemed about the same as on Princess or RCI—mostly couples in their 40s and 50s, some honeymooners, a decent number under 21, and not a huge number of the older crowd.

Embarkation—A+— After arriving at the Port of Miami around 12 noon (we're lucky, we live around 20 minutes away) , everything went very quick and smooth—the fastest we have ever got on a cruise ship. We picked the Select line as slightly shorter than the Concierge Class line, and we were on the ship within 10 minutes. I unfortunately missed the CC gathering.

Cabin Review

Cabin CC

Very nice, quiet, well-located cabin, decent sized covered balcony, a short distance from the stairs and elevators.
