This was my 7th time on a Radiance class ship (still my favourite), but first time after it´s revamp. 33rd cruise overall on different lines just to put this into perspective.

Check In in CPH was very quick due to having booked a suite (OS). First impression of Serenade was good but a little tired around the edges. Thought it looked a lot brighter/more open before it´s renovation. Staterooms were ready at 13:00h and our OS was truly fabulous (execpt for the mattress!!! which was old and past its sell date, definitely not a premium mattress either) ! Room attendant, her supervisor and the concierge all came by , welcoming us personally on board. Very nice gesture.

Windjammer was a bit of a shock first. The selection has been reduced dramatically over the past 2 years in a way that it apperas like they haven´t put all the food out, meaning every counter was half empty. Never seen that before. Selection was so so, with an emphasis on rice, potatoes, salad ( the cheaper and filling stuff I guess ). Very small selection of meats and fish, meaning, 1 fish dish, 1 poultry dish and 1 pork dish and 1 beef dish, besides the usual unhealthy burger bar. It was like that all week by the way. However, In all fairness I must admit though , every dish was very very good and tasty. So the downsize came with a huge upgrade in taste compared to before. Probably a lot less waste of fod too, so I came to peace with this new offering at the buffet.
