Just left the Vision of the Seas a day early, just could not take anymore. The food was poor unless you paid extra in the speciality dining rooms but even then the menus were limited and did not change for the whole of the cruise. Worst was the abysmal service with staff throughout the ship not interested or even plain rude. The list of complaints is too long to list here but the worst was when my wife contracted acute gastric flu and they confined her to the cabin and imposed a quarantine that included me being fed on paper plates with plastic cutlery. When we returned to Barcelona our first thought was to leave the ship and stay in a hotel for the last night before our flight home but even that turned into a nightmare with three calls for a porter and then being refused the right to leave until Customer Services ( a description that certainly does not apply ) took 35 minutes to authorise.

I only wish someone had warned me then we could have gone with another cruise line.
