We are Castaways Club members and, as such, have been on several Disney Cruises. In fact, we will not cruise on any other cruise line. Having said that, our recent cruise on the Disney Magic was disappointing. The ship is in dire need of a big makeover, especially in the adults only pool area. The pool area has a lot of rust and surface dirt and the only food available is if you walk to the family or I kiddie pool areas. Not real convenient or relaxing. The AC in our cabin was terrible and although we complained several times, it was never fixed. Also, we noticed several bugs (either cockroaches or palmetto bugs) just inside of 2 of the restaurants. When we told a crew/cast member, they just smiled, shrugged their shoulders and walked away. That was the same response we got each time. And no....they didn't walk away to get someone to take care of it. The food was ok, but not up to the Disney quality standard we are used to. I'm writing this review because I know how important the 4 Keys are to Disney. Although we had no problems with the crew/cast members being courteous, the rust, dirt, lack if proper maintenance and bugs definitely don't measure up to Safety, Efficiency and SHOW!
Will cruise again with Disney, but, definitely not on this vessel.
Husband uses a wheelchair so we had the handicapped room. It was nice and spacious. Unfortunately the AC didn't work very well.
Been there before. Use this time to stay on ship and relax. Island is beautiful. Found out this time though that if you don't go on the island fir the new, you can barely find something to eat on the ship.
Only here for ship boarding. Things went smoothly. Crew/cast members were helpful. Let my husband use a wheelchair since we had checked his in with the luggage.
