We were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. The NCL transportation to the port was a breeze after landing at Marco Polo Airport. We had purchased the Anniversary package and had decorations in our room and a huge yummy cake. Too big for just the 2 of us I felt bad most of it went to waste but we ate as much as possible. We always get an inside cabin because we love the darkness and we always look forward to napping or going to bed. The room is so cool, and dark and quiet. I didn't hear the ship one time I also didn't feel any motion. We stayed on deck 11 which was one floor away from the pool and the buffet. It was very convenient. We loved the shows every night I even took part in 2 of the shows which made it exciting. Our cruise director Archie Archibald was entertaining and funny. The assistant cruise director Rodrigo was great too! He made me laugh and I enjoyed dancing with the entartainment staff at night In the Spinnaker Lounge. We spent a lot of time in the Aloho bar and lounge. Our favorite server was Sara from Croatia. She was a pleasure! We loved the hot wings in The Blue Lagoon which was open 24 hours. We enjoyed the ports of call and took part in Shore Excursions that NCL provided. I never felt like the ship was too crowded. The cruise staff talen show was a hoot! We loved it! My only complain is I can never hear the ship announcements. I gave up after awhile. I wanted to hear what the Captain was saying or the cruise Director but I could never hear them. Especially at the pool. Forget about it. ALl I hard was mumbling and that was a dissapointment. We loved the cookuts by the pool and especially the Jambalaya. The Head Chef was very funny and emtertaining as well. I enjoyed the cake making competition. Another thing I enjoyed was questions and answer from the Captain, Head Chef, engineeer ext. I found that fascinating. We loved our cruise and will probably be back. The Jade is a beautiful ship.
