I have sailed on four different cruise lines of a total of over 10 cruises. This is was my first time sailing Carnival. I knew going in the ship was older (Paradise). Since I booked last minute, I got a cabin on deck 4 the last room before the employees only door in the very back. So that being said, no hallway runners or no yelling fellow passengers (Positive). Being that the ship was small, a few nights we felt the ship rock, but I don't get seasick and found it to be fine.

What I didn't like was the staff did not keep the ship tidy. I always saw dirty cups, plates all over the place. Even in the elevator someone left their used cup. What I also witnessed was several staffers walking past trash and not picking it up (major pet peeve). It shows they don't care about their ship's appearance. I traveled with 12 other women. They were not able to accommodate our dining sitting arrangement so that we could all sit together. When we complained, their solution was to put us in back to back booths that sat 6 of us with a wall partition between us. Hello, women like to talk and after going our separate ways during the day we couldn't even catch up at dinner.

Also, I was so excited about my prebooked under cavern river excursion. Once on board they left a note in our cabin that they canceled it. They decided to credit my cabin and not my credit card that it was charged on initially. Makes no sense to me. The last thing I'm thoroughly disgusted by is one of the mom's twenty something daughter was assaulted in her cabin. They somehow got into her cabin and rubbed her stomach. She described the male's attire as having a grey vest (sounds like staff). They said they would forward this to the Tampa Police once we got back. I will never cruise Carnival again. I only went because my younger sister recently passed away and my friends thought I needed to get away for some rest and relaxation.
