I have cruised several times and my cruise on Norwegian Getaway was by far the worst. I will always choose Carnival over Norwegian. Start with the boarding process. They stick you in a large room with all the other cruisers and you have to wait for your section to be called. Non of the staff at this point seem very happy or excited. The lack luster attitude carried on throughout the cruise. We did not even know there was a take off party. When eating in Savor and Taste restaurants they never seemed to get my meals right but were quick to tell me tat what I ordered. At one point a matre d yelled at a guest at our table because she questioned why her omelet took 45 min.

The room steward never put clean glasses in our room, never turned down our bed and there was garbage in the room from the previous cruise. Staff never greeted us unless we greeted them first. The buffet was a crazy with no organization. We spoke to a matre d at the Tropicana restaurant and was promised he would addressed issues and promised to comp our meal at Ocean Blue. It has been over a week and we still have yet to see the charges removed. I even questioned why they were not removed at quest services on the ship and was promised it would be removed asap. I really regret wasting a trip on Norwegian instead of staying with Carnival. I could go on with the issues.
