We have cruised on Oasis and Allure probably 6-7 times total and are Diamond Plus. This was our first cruise on the "new-improved' Oasis and there were some disappointments.. You can see the little "cut backs", which might not bother some, but they left sore spots for us. We are in our 70's & maybe set in our ways.

We like Half & Half in our coffee, not that whitener stuff. It took us 4 days to find Half & Half in a Carafe in Cafe on deck 5. Diamond lounge in old location is gone, now in what was the Concierge Lounge on Deck 11 & 12. Unless you were in GS or above or Pinnacle you could not use Coastal Kitchen, which I understand took the place of Concierge Lounge.. Good for some, but not for others. We were in JS.

Menu in MDR appears smaller, my favorite chilled soup, Strawberry Bisque not offered. Service was good. Had dinner in Chops, also good. Cabin attendant was great, but overworked with no help.. And then there were the shows, love Aqua Theatre (always), Comedy Club was funny, did not see Frozen as RCI rescheduled reservations & it ended up at 5:15, formal night, we had Early Seating. Saw Cats & hated it. My fault, did not know I had to research & google prior to seeing. Very long, had intermission & apparently a ton or others felt the same way, because they started slipping out early in show & intermission was like a fire drill. I think it is a love it or hate it musical. Not a good choice for a cruise ship (personal opinion).

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

Cabin, as always was good. Love the extra large balcony on the "hump", with 2 chairs, table & 2 lounges. Stateroom attendant was attentive and all we had to do was ask for something & we received.
