We too have just returned from the New Orleans cruise and would agree with 95% of the previous comments .We thought that most (not all) the professional entertainers were good.

Where we strongly agree and on which we would like to expand is the quality of the food. School dinners spring to mind but most were much worse than school dinners. I have never in 15 years of cruising seen so many meals sent back and changed.

Lunch if you chose to eat in the Conservatory was definitely a best forgotten experience. It had the ambiance of a works canteen, where if you were a little tardy with your time keeping you struggled to find a seat. Salads and sandwiches were fine, if somewhat repetitive ( however you had to be prepared to queue while the solitary sandwich maker tried to keep up with demand) The hot options were on the whole of poor quality and unappetising and certainly lacked imagination.
