Celebrity dropped the ball on Solstice. We've cruised with Celebrity before and were quite happy but this cruise left us disappointed and we will not travel with them again.

The buffet had the same food everyday for lunch and dinner, something in red sauce and something in brown sauce. The formal dining room was just as bad, food cold and dry and no vegetables unless you ask for them.

Celebrity touts their flex anytime dining but when we requested it we were told it wasn't possible and we ended up eating at 8:30 every evening, much to late for our tastes. Service in dining room was hit or miss. We think this is to force guests to eat in alternative restaurants for which a fee is charged, food definitely better if you pay for it. Read more
