This was our first cruise and our family had a terrific time on the Disney Magic. The ship is 17 years old and the condition and cleanliness of the ship was impeccable. The staff was just what I expected from the Disney family, fun, courteous, friendly, and always accommodating.
Our waiter staff for dinner service was great. Edward was from England and Putu was from Indonesia and they always exceeded our expectations. They would finish off each meal with a some sort clever finale. Whether it was a Magic trick, origami, making napkin hats, or just a nice farewell note. We found ourselves looking forward to going to dinner to more acquainted more with Edward and Putu each night. Both of them were genuine and were sad to say goodbye on our last day.
The entertainment was unbelievable. Great live shows, comics, ventriloquist, and entertainment staff(especially Katie from England). We went to amost every live stage production and the quality of the productions is equivalent to Broadway productions. The cruise director Brent Davies was exceptional. His energy level was contagious and you could tell he truly enjoyed making everyone's experience truly Magic.
The cabin was just what I expected. It was small but not too small. The stateroom host was always on cue with his cleaning and turn down service each night. We really enjoyed the towel animals on the bed each night. The room was very clean and exceeded our standards.
This was absolutely fantastic. The island was very clean and the beaches were great. We spent a lot of time snorkeling in the lagoon and saw a good variety of tropical fish. The food served at lunch on the island was superb.
